Part 7 of 8
Greta’s depth of expertise when it comes to managing startup businesses, her entrepreneurial thinking, and her passion for setting the bar for cannabis businesses are just a few of the reasons why she is able to see opportunities where others do not; as a result, she entered 2015 owning multiple respected marijuana businesses, and has partnered with other like-minded individuals to work on similar ventures across the United States.
Needless to say, Greta’s professional successes and relationships became challenging for her lawyers and accountants to manage, and it was they who determined that an umbrella company should be created to house all her passions; hence, The G.Car Companies was established.
At this point, G.Car has evolved into much more than just Greta Carter; she is the common thread but attributes her successes to the fact that she surrounds herself with an outstanding team of multi-talented industry professionals. Garnering the attention of new marijuana ventures seeking assistance (application writing, marketing, training and so on), G.Car extended its services to include consulting.
In addition to Inyo Fine Cannabis Dispensary (the new medical cannabis dispensary Greta co-owns in Las Vegas), G.Car has been working on Because Freedom (a B2B portal that enables recreational marijuana retailers to browse products and place orders from a central location), served as consultants for a number of recreational cannabis farms in Washington, and are working on multiple projects in Alaska.
On the evening of December 5th, 2015, Greta Carter was voted the winner of the Best Effort on Affecting Policy, Regulations & Industry Standards category at the 2015 Cannawards (Northwest).
